intro to orisha week #6

this is a 6-week foundational course on the orisha tradition. we will discuss the orisha pantheon, the practice of ifa in the african diaspora, ancestral reverence, iwa pele (balanced character), terms and terminology, insight from my journey to becoming a practitioner and an initiated priestess, and much more.

the purpose of this course is to empower individuals with a basic understanding of the orisha tradition (lucumi). participating in this course does not commit you to the tradition, but provides a safe space to discuss how you can use the vast wisdom of african spirituality, along with practical tools, to invite more alignment and harmony into your life and support you in your spiritual development. classes will be held online via zoom each tuesday beginning february 21, 2023 at 7:00 pm est and will conclude on march 28, 2023. each class will be recorded and made available for viewing the following…
